The qualifications of a Masonic candidate as prescribed in the GLOC Constitution are as follow: 1.Out of own free will and accord 2.Has resided within the jurisdiction of the Grand Lodge during twelve months, and within the Jurisdiction of the Lodge during six months (i.e., Taiwan, R.O.C.) 3.Male over the age of 20 4.Believes in a Supreme Being and a future existence 5.Has no criminal record 6.Has not been rejected by any Masonic institution within this jurisdiction 7.The application petition being vouched by at least two active Masons, bulletined and receiving no objection from the membership
The petitioned candidate will then be investigated, balloted and admitted if with unanimous approval of the membership,
and begin his progressive learning in Masonry.
