Masons meet on the level without different aspect in both. Masons relief others on foot to foot, pray for others on knee to knee, entrust others on breast to breast, support others on hand to back, and advise others on mouth to ear no matter what he was and where he came. If any one of those were wronged, he who is not worthy been called as Fellow Craft or Master Mason. Masons stand on different terrain, but to achieve the same top level is the ultimate beneficial glory.
Brotherly love in a great measure is Trust. Our Grand Master Hiram Abiff would rather surrender his life without revealing the secrets of Master Masons for having put his trust upon brethren. These virtues are precious as “Defeated to Deceased”.
Officers of Grand Lodge come from brothers. There are two denominations, elected and selected. Grand Master, Deputy Grand Master, Senior Grand Warden, Junior Grand Warden, Grand Treasurer and Grand Secretary total 6 lawful brothers are elected in each annul communication represented by the Worshipful Masters, Senior Wardens, Junior Wardens and Past Masters of every Lodge. The rest 14 officers are promoted and selected by the elected officers.
I joined Freemasons since 1988 and was nominated by Tang Lodge No. 9. As a newly inaugurated Grand Master, I hereby sincerely express my gratitude to thank all of your supports this year.
Here is a question to all of you, “Are you going to put your trust on those unfamiliar Grand Officers like our Grand Master Hiram Abiff?”
Putting trust upon brethren will be duly established by time, same those as Masonry, which is a progressive moral science. Facing the threats at the gates to our Grand Master Hiram Abiff, still he remained peace and advised the 3 deserters to pay more attention on “Ah, Wait with patience”, “Oh, Wait with patience” and “Mh, Wait with patience”.
In the end with struggling, our Grand Master Hiram Abiff was fatal blown eventually to commit his free will and accord quietly. If the Grand officers are trust worthy to all our brothers, Grand Lodge will certainly grow strong out of question.

To claim the functions and trusts to all our members of Grand Lodge, I have a strong will to set forth everything on the same standard. Freemasonry informs us “Wisdom, Strength and Beauty”. To ever last an institute in great shape is totally based on the standard regulations by using Wisdom to contrive the way, Strength to support the will and Beauty to adore the same.
Beauty phonetically reads as “Be unity”. Be unity is the beauty to become one. Everything comes to an end and ends up in unity and the same will display beauty. Beauty adores the same from inside to outside, the same from interior to exterior, and the same with all of us in doing things.
I do believe, there was a hot blood making you to become a Mason, but the enthusiasm was doused out on the road to the Grand Lodge. This is a gigantic loss to the Grand Lodge of China. To unify what we follow and obey is an imminent issue.
I duly trust a cemented institution is funded on a unified perspective. All standards are contrived in Constitutions as back bones, all operations are functioning by rules and regulations as skin and flesh, and brotherly loves as circulating blood to nourish the tissues without letting them slip away and cleave off.
Although Freemasonry is funded in western world, but the spirits come to the same with the traditions of Chinese culture. In my eye, Sun Lodge No. 6, Han Lodge No. 8, and Tang Lodge No. 9 have raised a great amount of newly obligated brothers these 3 years. I have found them not only to serve their mother Lodges but also to attend those appendant bodies in Scottish Rite, York Rite, and Shriner as to extent the experiences in Masons. I hope every Lodge of you may also be prosperous in near future.
I specifically mentioned Sun, Han and Tang Lodges for their big efforts on appealing Freemasonry, has to make me enlightened and figuring out the future opportunity of Grand Lodge of China on tracking to the Chinese societies. I deeply realized that the
“Free” and “Accepted” are expounding “Free will by Open-Mind” and “Accepted by Open-Heart” in the title of our institution which made Chinese great of all time.
There are no flourishing leaves without a strong stem. The relation between Grand Lodge and Lodges is more like two columns in parallel. The strength of Boaz is denoting the Grand Lodge and the establishment of Jachin is denoting the Lodges, which was like the blessing of GOD: “To David, in the strength will I establish mine house and kingdom forever”. To be unity with Grand Lodge and Lodges is a perfect Beauty.
There are 11 Lodges in Grand Lodge of China. Some Lodges are specialized in foreign languages and some are expertise in mandarin which I am always impressed and admiring. It is a mega structure to blend Freemasonry into Chinese societies. I am looking forward to all of us may endeavor to open your mind in exploring wonders, to open your heart in sharing upon, putting trust, learning forgiveness, and to love each other on the rough and rugged road to the glory of our society.
As a Mason, I am no doubt being “Beauty” when I was inculcated.
As a Mason, I am proud being a “Mason” when I was called.
