Grand Lodge of China

Freemason

Travel back in time through the history of Grand Lodge of China: from Chin Dynasty era to Taiwan in 1949.

The commencement of the electronic bulletin is truly exciting, and it is just one of the many splendid improvements of our Masonic temple we made in recent years. Itis really touching how members of the Temple Executive Council have put in their hearts and souls to bring out the best of our temple with limited resource and generous donations from brethren.

At the same time, our grand lodge has won the lawsuit against the developer on the district and high courts.

The Committee on Temple Reconstruction has diligently sought for possible alternatives to rebuild our temple on site with sustainable income through self-financing. I believe we will soon work out the best solution for the future of our beloved fraternity. Grand Lodge of China has gone through various turbulences these years but has resolved them all.
This is just the process of turning a rough ashlar to a perfect ashlar, and I salute with heartfelt gratitude to all who have selflessly devoted themselves along the way.
During my term, I have been blessed the opportunities to visit many grand lodges and got to know that each family has its own worries. As Masons, you are encouraged to travel in foreign countries to enrich your Masonic experience.

As we learn the merits from others, there is no way we should feel inferior. Our grand lodge may be humble in terms of funds and number of membership, however,
through the efforts of dedicated brethren, our operations, receptions during the annual communication, and the general image we have cast onto the Masonic world are quite impressive and second to none. We should all be proud of being members of Grand Lodge of China!
Lastly, I would like to remind everyone that, although the booming of internet has brought the world closer, it has also made it more chaotic. Freemasonry, by its high moral standard to make good men better, is supposed to elevate our community by bringing out the good side of men. The essence of our annual theme “Harmony through Enlightenment” is that by familiarizing ourselves with our Constitution and lectures, we learn the Masonic precepts and mechanism of resolving disputes so that we can correct astray brethren through mouth to ear to foster the peace of harmony in our Craft. Always remind ourselves of why and how we were made Masons. Do not let the noises of the profane world interfere our spiritual search. Be a better man by being a Mason!
