The Seventh Grand Master M.W. Brother Sin-Tse Tsao (1960-1961)
Most Worshipful Bro Sin-Tse Tsao, seventh Grand Master of Masons in China, was born May 30, 1985 in Shanghai, China, second son of Dr.&Mrs. V.K. Tsao.
Grand Master Tsao received his earler education in St. Johns University Shanghai, and joined in 1910 the Naitonal Tung Chi University where he studied engineering and graduated in 1916 as a Emchanical Engineer. He Furthered his studies in Germany after his graduation.
His Masonic career began in 1936, in which year he was iniated on October 13, passed on Nov 10 and raised on Dec 7 in Amity Lodge No 106 at Shanghai China, Philippine Constitution. He joined the Ancient and Accepted Scottish Rite of Freemasonry of the Southern Jurisdiction, USA., in Shanghai China, in February 1947 and is now a member of the Taipei Bodies, Valley of Taipei Orient of Taiwan, where he served as Commander of the Taipei Council of Kadosh for the year 1960.
As a Blue Lodge Mason, he served as Master of Amity Lodge No 1 F.&A.. M., China Constitution, for the year 1955-56, and Master of Sun Lodge No 6, for year 1956-1957.
He is also a member of Keystone Chapter No Royal Arch Masons, of Shanghai China, under the jurisdiction of the General Chapter of Royal Arch Masons of the USA.
He is a Shriner since 1954, being a member of Nile Temple A.A.O.N.M.S. of Seattle, Wash., USA.
As to his vocation; career, Grand Master S.T. Tsao served as ;lecturer on [Physics and German at the National Peking University from 1918-20; Engineer of Kieo-Sin Dockyard from 1921-1928; Technical Expert of the Bureau of Public Utilities of the City Government of the Great Shanghai and i charge of the Shanghai Municipal Ferries (1929-1932); in charge of the General Affairs Department of the Nanking-Shanghai & Shanghai-Hangchow-Ningpo Railways Administration (1933-1938); Technical Expert of the National Resources Commission (1939-1941); Co-compiler & Editor of a German-Chinese Standard Dictionary (1943-1945); Manager, Assy. General Manager, Secretary-General of the Board of Advisor of the China Merchants Steam Navigation Co Ltd. (1945-1960).
Brother Tsao was the Director of the Department of Navigation & Aviation of the Ministry of Communications, and Concurrently Director of the Taiwan Navigation Co Ltd., and the Director of the Ingalls Taiwan Shipbuilding & Dry-dock Company. He was twice decorated by the Ministry of Communications for his meritorious services.
第七屆總會長 曹省之尊兄
曹省之尊兄,中國美生總會第七屆總會長,1985年5月30日出生於中國上海,是Dr. V.K. Tsao的次子。
曹省之尊兄早年就讀於上海聖約翰大學,1910年考入國立同濟大學工科,1916年機械工程師畢業,畢業後赴德國深造。
他的美生會生涯始於 1936 年,10 月 13 日入會,11 月 10 日轉化,12 月 7 日在菲律賓總會轄下中國上海誼廬第 106 分會提升為工師美生。他於 1947 年 2 月在中國上海加入了美國南部轄區慈修會,目前是台北慈修會的成員,並擔任台北慈修會指揮官,1960 年擔任台北慈修會東方宗教法庭第一分會會長。
曹省之尊兄曾任中國美生總會誼廬第1分會1955-56年會長,申廬第6分會1956-1957年會長。
他也是中國上海的皇家拱門美生第1號基石分會的成員,隸屬於美國皇家拱門總會。
自 1954 年以來,他一直是美國華盛頓州西雅圖市尼羅河神廟 A.A.O.N.M.S. 的慈壇社成員。
曹省之尊兄於 1918 年至 20 年間在國立北京大學擔任物理和德語講師; 1921-1928 年任 Kieo-Sin 造船廠工程師;大上海市政府公用事業局技術專家,負責上海市渡輪(1929-1932);分管滬杭甬鐵路局綜合處(1933-1938);國家資源委員會技術專家(1939-1941);德漢標準詞典的共同編譯和編輯(1943-1945);招商局輪船有限公司經理、助理總經理、顧問委員會秘書長(1945-1960)。
曹省之尊兄曾為交通部航運司司長,兼任台灣航務有限公司董事、英格爾斯台灣造船幹船塢公司董事。曾因立功兩次被交通部授勳。
