Stephen S.D.Kao was born in Deng County of Henan, China, on July 11th, 1942. It was during the extreme difficult time of the Chinese against Japanese invasion War; his family moved to Xian,Shian Xi Province and Chengdu City,Szechwan Province.Then,the whole family moved to Taiwan in 1949 and settled since then.He graduated from National Taichung Second Junior High School in 1956, and municipal Taichung First Senior High School in 1959. He; then,attended Soochow University and graduated in June 1964, with Bachelor degree of Law.
In 1971, Stephen was married to Pi-Ming Chu of Shanghai City.They have two daughters, Judy, graduated with Master’s degree from University of Southern California. She is now working as a certified public accountant in the southern California.Peggy,graduated from University of California,Riverside with Bachelor degree of Sociology,and she is now working in the freight forwarding industry just like his father was.
Immediately after graduation from the college,. Stephen joined ocean freight industry in 1964, and worked in Tait & Co;later on, he joined Swire Group Co., Ltd. In 1977, Stephen started his own company, Seven Ocean Maritime Transport Co., Ltd., and served as Deputy Chairman up to now.
In the course of served as the President of the Ali Shan Oasis Shrine Club,Stephen found that, majority of children who suffered burn injuries in Taiwan were come from low-income family and there was no any organization to provide necessary assistance either medically or financially.
Therefore,Stephen, with helps from many Shrine Nobles,followed the traditional process of the Ali Shan Oasis Shrine Club, founded the Childhood Burn Foundation of The Republic of China in cooperation with Mackay Memorial Hospital. Stephen served the Foundation as the Trustee,President,and Founding Trustee up to this date.
Stephen petitioned Szechwan Lodge No. 4 and was made a Master Mason on December 17, 1983. Brother Stephen served as Worshipful Master of Szechwan Lodge No. 4 in 1997.In 2002-2004 he was appointed as Grand Tyler and has progressed in the regular line until being elected Grand Master in October of 2009.
Other memberships include: Scottish Rite, Taipei Bodies, AASRSJ, USA(1984); York Rite, David Au Chapter No. 1, RAM(1985); Shriner, Asyia (Islam) Temple, CA, USA, and Ali Shan Oasis Shrine Club(1984).

第35屆總會長 高信鄧尊兄
高信鄧，民國三十一年七月十一日出生於河南省鄧縣。由於時值中國對日本入侵奮力抵抗的異常艱困戰爭時期，幼年時隨家人曾居住於陕西省西安市、四川省成都市。更於民國三十八年底隨家人來到台灣定居至今。他於民國四十五年畢業於省立台中二中初中部，四十八年畢業於台中市立一中高中部，民國五十三年六月畢業於東吳大學法律系。
民國六十年與上海市籍朱碧明小姐結婚，育有二女。長女儷玲畢業於美國南加州大學研究所並獲得碩士學位，現在美國任職會計師。次女玉玲，美國加州大學河邊分校畢業，現在美國加州從事貨物運輸工作。
高信鄧於民國五十三年大學畢業後，投身海運事業，先後在德記洋行及太古公司服務。民國六十六年自己創業，成立七洋船務股份有限公司，擔任副董事長迄今。
民國七十八年，在擔任美生會台北市美生慈壇社社長任內，高信鄧有感於國內的燒燙傷兒童，絕大多數都來自低收入的家庭，而且沒有任何組織提供醫療的或財務上的協助。於是，在台北市美生慈壇社多位會員的協助下，按照美生慈壇社之傳統規定，並與台北市馬偕醫院合作，成立了「中華民國兒童燙傷基金會」，並擔任董事、董事長以及創會董事迄今。
高信鄧於民國七十二年向第四分會四川廬提出入會申請，於同年十二月十七日提昇為工師級美生。高信鄧兄弟於民國八十六年出任第四分會四川廬會長。民國九十一年至九十三年被指派擔任總司衛一職，自此循序出任總司事、副總司客、總會監、副總會長等職，並於民國九十八年當選為總會長。其他美生會籍包括：民國七十三年九月成為美南美生慈修總會中國分會的會員。民國七十四年加入美國美生慈德會皇家拱門總會歐偉國第一分會。民國七十三年成為伊斯蘭（後更名為”艾塞亞”）慈壇社及台北市阿里山慈壇社的會員。

1983年12月17日於第四分會川盧晉升（Master Mason）
1984年9月28 日加入美生慈修會（Taipei Bodies，Scottish Rites）
1985年7月加入美生慈德會（David Au Chapter No．1，York Rites）
1984年參加美生慈壇社（Islam Temple＆Ali Shan Oasis Shrine Club）
1988年被選為美生慈壇社社長（President ofAli Shan Oasis Shrine Club）
1997年被選為第四分會川盧會長（Worshipful Master）
2002-04年擔任中國美生總會總司衛（Grand Tyler）
2004-06年擔任中國美生總會總司事（Senior Grand Steward）
2006-07年擔任中國美生總會副總司客（Junior Grand Deacon）
2007-08年擔任中國美生總會總會監（Senior Grand Warden）
2008-09年擔任中國美生總會副總會長（Deputy Grand Master）
2009-10年擔任中國美生總會總會長（Grand Master）
