Past Grand Master MW Bro. Dennis Liao represented the Grand Lodge of China at the Annual Communication of the Grand Lodge of California, followed by a special visit to the Grand Lodge of Massachusetts. Established in 1850, the Grand Lodge of California today governs more than 340 Lodges and 60,000 members, and is regarded as the “grandmother jurisdiction’’ of our own Grand Lodge. Its well-structured business procedure, orderly voting system, and gracious reception to visiting delegations once again demonstrated the maturity and harmony of their Masonic operations. MW Bro. Liao’s full participation provided valuable insights and inspiration.

Following the Annual Communication, he traveled to Boston to visit the Grand Lodge of Massachusetts, founded in 1733 and one of the oldest Grand Lodges in the world. The historic Grand Lodge building, its extensive Masonic library, and the beautifully preserved Ionic, Doric, and Corinthian halls reflect centuries of heritage and dedication.

This journey strengthened fraternal ties with both jurisdictions and reaffirmed an important truth in Masonry: travel enriches the Masonic experience. The Grand Lodge of China encourages all Brethren to explore Lodges beyond their own and embrace the broader world of Freemasonry.

加州總會年會與麻州總會堂參訪紀實｜前總會長廖正方 分享

本次由前總會長廖正方代表總會長出席美國加州美生總會年會，並於會後前往麻州總會堂參訪。加州總會自 1850 年成立，現有六萬名會員與 340 個分會，是本總會的「祖母總會」，其年會程序嚴謹、選舉制度透明，諸多細節皆展現成熟的制度與對賓客的高度禮遇。活動期間廖前總會長全程參與，深感收穫豐富。

其後轉往波士頓應邀參訪麻州總會堂，該總會成立於 1733 年，是美國最古老的美生總會之一，館藏珍貴，歷史深厚。三大集會堂、總會圖書館與歷任總會長肖像，充分展現美生文化的傳承底蘊。

此行不僅強化了與美國各總會的兄弟情誼，也再次印證「旅行豐富美生體驗」的真諦，期盼更多兄弟能走入世界、拓展更寬廣的美生視野。
